The Craftsmanship and details of the Pearl Overcoat were inspired by two feature films: Boomerang and the Great Gatsby. The black, full length, cashmere coat includes patch pockets, double pick stitching, and a cross belted back. The Neapolitan pleated and lightly rolled shoulder compliment the Italian patch pocket sewn on the lapel. The length of the Pearl Overcoat highlights the purple silk interior that each garment of this collection is lined with. The inspiration for the Pearl overcoat was drawn from the movie, The Great Gatsby. Nick Carraway, a character in the film, personified elegance when he wore a very wide notch lapel on a herringbone suit. Marcus Graham, a character in the film Boomerang and marketing executive in the 1980’s, also inspired the look and feel of the Pearl Overcoat.
